Do you want to combine sport, change of scenery and tourism in the Vendée? Go with your rented bike to camping La Grand’ Métairie and pedal your hair in the wind to the beach of Les Conches or the beach of Le Rocher in Longeville-sur-Mer. To prolong the walk, take the road of Les Conches which runs along the Côte de Lumière and crosses the Marais Poitevin. Longeville has halls under which you can find the weekly market, and a beautiful Gothic church (Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption church) where concerts are sometimes given. Other events are organised in the town, the jazz festival (Jazz Wave) with the towns of La Tranche-sur-Mer and Les Sables-d’Olonne but also the Terre à la Mer half-marathon to be done in pairs or in teams ! The seaside resort of Longeville has the particularity of having three sandy beaches (Conches, Petit-Rocher, Bouil) and the surf spot Bud Bud, one of the most beautiful spots in the Pays de la Loire. It will also be possible for you to participate in introductory and advanced courses in one of the surf schools on site.
