Open from June to September, the Maison du Marais offers a wide range of activities and packages for exploring the Marais Poitevin. Depending on the size of your group, you can choose between a boat (recommended for 4 people) or a canoe (for two people or more), and benefit from a preferential rate for groups of 10 or more (5.5 euros per person). After a quick explanation of how to handle your craft, the water awaits you!
Allow around 1h30 for the entire tour, and marvel at the aquatic scenery all around you. Numerous explanatory panels line the route, providing information on the local flora and fauna, as well as the history of the area. The circuit is signposted throughout, so you can enjoy your expedition in complete peace of mind, without fear of getting lost.
Looking for an even more extraordinary experience during your camping holiday in Longeville sur Mer? Join theApéro Bateau, a 2019 novelty organized by the snack shack. Starting at 7pm every Tuesday and Thursday in July and August, sip your drink on the water while sharing a convivial moment with your loved ones. You can also opt for the ” Nocturne commentée ” formula: a tour of the marshes between 9.30pm and 11pm, only on Wednesdays in July and August. Under the stars, you can try to catch a glimpse of some nocturnal animals and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the marshes plunged into the summer night.

The Maison du Marais is open from 9am to 5pm in July and August, and from 1pm to 5pm in May, June and September.
