Arrivals at the campsite are from 4pm and departures before 10am.
At the reception
From April 4 to September 12, 2026: from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
You can:
- Find information on tourist sites in our Destination Vendée Grand Littoral and more widely on the Vendée department.
- Post or receive mail between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. every day except Sunday
- Free wifi access at reception. Another wifi terminal is also available free of charge at La Guinguette. Paid access is available throughout the campsite.
- Numerous services are available to make your vacation even more enjoyable: barbecue rental, bed linen, bath kit, baby kit, laundry tokens, ironing facilities… For full rates, see Activities and Services below.
Practical info
At the 4-star campsite in St-Hilaire-la-Forêt, Vendée, a grocery area is available all season long, with bread and pastries as well ?, as well as a self-service laundry with 2 washing machines and 1 dryer. 6.50€ wash cycle (detergent included), 5€ dry cycle. ?
Within a 5 to 10 km radius, in Jard-sur-Mer, Longeville-sur-Mer or Talmont-St-Hilaire, you’ll find all the local shops you need for a great vacation. You’ll also find supermarkets like Super U, Intermarché and Lidl.
Markets featuring local produce, food and clothing are held all year round in each of these communes. Typically Vendéen markets are held almost every day.

Your activities & services
Camping La Grand’ Métairie is surrounded by beautiful spots to visit on foot or by bike! If you don’t want to take up too much space on your trip, you can rent bicycles for adults and children in the commune of Jard sur mer, near the campsite. You can choose a daily or weekly package to suit your needs. Other ancillary services are also available for a 100% peaceful stay:
