Surfing lessons at Longeville sur Mer

Discovery lessons

An instructor introduces you to the basics of the sport and the rules you need to follow to surf safely in a specific area. Learn how to position yourself on the board to find and keep your balance, practice and apply techniques to right yourself on the board. Accessible to children aged 8 and over; price: €38.

5-8 year-olds can also discover surfing or bodyboarding in a fun way during a one-hour lesson (€35).

Courses

For 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 days, receive theoretical and practical lessons of 1 h 30 in the discipline of your choice between surfing, bodyboarding or stand-up paddling. You’ll also receive a French surfing federation passport and an end-of-course gift. Price: from €70 for 2 days to €295 for 10 days.

During the 5-day course, you can rent equipment outside lesson times (package at 199 €).

Private sessions and coaching

Private lessons (choice of surf, stand-up paddle or bodyboard) last 1 hour and include theory and practice. As with a course, you’ll receive your French Federation passport and a small gift at the end. Prices: €65 for 1 person and €100 for 2 people.

Off-season surfing

5 lessons (from 1 h 30 to h 2) are offered at weekends and during school vacations, depending on tides and weather conditions. You’ll receive a license and surf passport from the French Surfing Federation. You’ll also receive an end-of-course gift. Price: €149.

Stays at ManuSurf school

Surfcamps for 12-17 year-olds

The camps take place during the school vacations (Easter, summer and All Saints’ Day). Supervised by instructors 24 hours a day, the youngsters spend at least 3 hours a day surfing, building up their self-confidence and pushing themselves to the limit. The rest of the time, they can enjoy other activities (beach games, table tennis, etc.) as the mood takes them. 605 for 1 week and €1,300 for 2 weeks.

Surfcamps for adults

With family or friends, book your surfing holiday for a weekend or a whole week. Surf at the Bud Bud spot in an enchanting environment, or in the 20 km surrounding area. Accommodation is available in a guest-house renovated by the school. From €325 to €750, depending on the options chosen and the season. You can also choose a 4-star campsite in nearby Vendée and surf whenever you like, with a choice of other services.

Further information about the surf school

The school will provide you with a board tailored to your body size and level, and a wetsuit for the season, adapted to your size. In winter, we lend you gloves, booties and balaclavas. A changing room is available.
