Find information on the tourist sites of our Destination Vendée Grand Littoral and more widely on the department of Vendée. For more comfort during your outings, you can book places directly at the campsite reception. (Ex: Puy du Fou)
Post or receive mail between 11am and 12pm every day except Sunday.
Access the wifi reception area for free. Another wifi terminal is also available free of charge in the bar restaurant. Paid access is available throughout the entire campsite.
Many services are available to make your holiday even more enjoyable (barbecue hire, bikes, sheets and bath kit, baby kit, Chilean girls, laundry tokens… ). Also, loan of iron.

Useful Information

Near the camping Vendée, in St-Hilaire-la-Forêt, a grocery is open all season. Within a radius of 5 to 10 km, in Jard-sur-Mer, Longeville-sur-Mer or Talmont-St-Hilaire, you will find all the shops you need for a great holiday. You can also find supermarkets such as Super U, Casino, or Lidl. During the summer, markets with local produce, food and clothing are held in each of these villages. Friendly markets are held almost every day in the Vendée.

La Grand’Métairie is surrounded by beautiful places to visit by bike or on foot! If you want to travel light, we rent bikes for adults and children at reception. You can rent by the day or by the week according to your needs. To have your bikes ready upon arrival, we recommend that you reserve them when booking your stay (limited availability).
